Missed Connections: Both born in Michigan, we lived less than an hour apart from each other for over 17 years (mostly under 10 miles apart!). In the DC area, we lived under 15 miles apart from eachother for over 4 years. We've compared our concert attendance and realized we have been at about four of the same shows in Detroit or DC. First Date: Saturday, June 12, 1999. Plans were to go to a Afghan restaurant which was ironically closed for a wedding banquet. Had greek food instead and then saw Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. The Proposal: April 7, 2001. Tim took me to dinner at the Inn at Little Washington to celebrate my birthday. He did not tell my where we were going and I was a little suspicious when he told me it would take an hour and a half to drive to the restaurant. I thought it would be a romantic place for a proposal, but did not quite believe he would be proposing that night! Our Honeymoon: We are finalizing our plans to go to Bali.
