  "Everybody loves monkeys." At least, that's what a former co-worker of mine used to tell me. But if you've come to this site because you love monkeys then you may be disappointed. This site doesn't have anything to do with monkeys, except as far as they relate to Risus, my absolute favorite role playing game. What the heck is Risus you say? Well, hop over to http://www222.pair.com/sjohn/risus.htm and get yourself an education! Risus is a beautifully simple, freely available "rules lite" RPG. It was designed by S. John Ross to be a comedy RPG, but I've found it works great for all sorts of cinematic genres. This site dedicated to all the hoopy froods over at the Risus Talk group, who really are more fun than a barrel of monkeys. And a special word of thanks to Stefan Shirley, who beat me to the punch with this whole monkey business and has kindly allowed me the use of the name "Risus Monkey".
