Grace Jones

Description: A 24 years old woman of obvious Black Elf heritage; 5'5", athletic and rather trim due to the Navy diet of her youth.

Clichés: Inconspicuous Martial-Artist Fortune-Seeker (4), Swashbuckler Yearning to Return to Sea (2), Reckless Adept of Water Magic (4).

Hook: Severe Shyness with a tendency towards Bloodlust.

Languages: Narsikan, Kharkraez, and some barely remembered Narquol.

Lore: She had only minimal training in magic, but her natural gifts allow her to improvise a number of effects involving water. These effects include detecting water, creating water, shaping water, freezing water, thawing ice, turning water to acid, and making it rain.

Equipment: "Mystical Saltwater Crocodile Kimono" (+1 Bonus Gear for defense only). Inconspicuous but highly functional clothing with many hidden pockets and storage spots; several short blades that can be tossed or used in both hands; good rope; water pouches; and dried fish. Also carries her former captain's sword (that she refuses to part with under any circumstances). Similarly, she carries her captain's sextant & compass.

Currently wearing warm clothing and carrying a Moon Globe, mountaineering equipment, and a supply of rations.

Just found a magic sword and a bag of gold in the yeti's cave. This treasure, as well as the equipment of the dead rebels are available to Grâzê and the rest of the party. She also wears one of Silva's protective charms and a suit of white dragonscale armor over her kimono. Also has a slightly magical holy symbol of the All Father.

Wealth: Has a small inheritance and has been moderately successful as a Fourtune-Seeker. [Wealth Adj +1 (Fortune-Seeker)]

Tale: Her childhood separation from family took place on troubled seas at age 5. She was rescued by and served in the Navy as a cabinhand and then midshipman. She achieved most of this while under an elderly eunuch post-captain's protection (Captain Kârk). Unfortunately, a torrid teen love affair with a dashing lieutenant brought things to an end. Her mentor, having grown old with Navy and unable to leave his adopted daughter, brought her back to his fishing village home to retire.

Grâzê knows kung-fu. Granted, she had picked-up a fair amount of swashbuckling skills before hitting land, but her real fighting skills matured in the fishing village's local defense (they were often plagued by pirates and sea creatures). Her father, a decorated war hero (and hence a post-captains' post) raised her to be tough... maybe the son he never could have. Her father-figure passed on recently. She's now focused on making her fortune in Dragonspire.

Unspent Points: 5.
