Andrew Michael Le Croix

Description: Southern gentleman of about 40 years, 5'6", 145 lbs., graying light brown hair, mustache. He wears the finest clothes, affects a dignified southern drawl, and carries a sword cane.

Hook: His scandalous reputation is well-deserved, as he has an insatiable fondness for sinful luxury (though he would never harm anyone). He also has a Gentleman's Code of Honor.

Tale: Andrew Michael Lecroix was born to a land holding family in near New Orleans. Lacking any brothers or sisters, he was the heir to the family fortune and came into his inheritance at an early age. While his father was a wealthy planter who successfully rode out the Civil War, Andrew made a fortune as an art dealer and investor.

He has a reputation as a philanthropist and as an eccentric. He has studied voodoo magic from his family's sharecroppers and has had exposure to an eclectic array of other occult traditions as well.

He is, of course, a Freemason. But he is not particularly active due his scandalous reputation (he is rumored to be a homosexual). Instead, he prefers the company of more unconventional occultists.

1908: Mr. LeCroix is the man responsible for Silverlode's Current Boom, bringing investment in the face of unexplained mining accidents that drove away the first settlers. He is a patron of the arts and is responsible for bringing culture to Silverlode.
