Performed By: Anyone.
Requirements: Incantations in Ancient Greek.
Effects: Whenever the victim is alone, the next person or creature to see them will see instead their heart's desire (this is usually the viewer's true love, but it could also be a hated enemy, dinner, or any other strong need). The viewer will become obsessed with this desire, and seek to be near, touch, and possess the victim. this desire eventually turns murderous, so it's not as much fun to be afflicted by this curse as you'd think.
Disrupted By: Speaking the key phrase or the death of the victim.
Humbashar's Transference of the Vital Essence
Time: Any.
Location: Wherever.
Performed By: Anyone.
Requirements: Magic circle, blood of the target, incantations in Phoenician.
Effects: Takes the "vital essence" from the target, usually a demon or sorcerer and stores it in some kind of container. A glass bottle would be less than ideal for this purpose (see below).
Disrupted By: Destroying the container.
The Ritual of Carnageet
Commemoration of a famous and bloody massacre in vampire history. Now celebrated as sort of a vampire cinco de mayo.
Time: Every 13th year.
Location: A mountaintop, although a hilltop will do in a pinch.
Performed By: Presided over by a vampire high priest (the grand poobah), easily identifiable by his distinctive headwear (the poobah hat). Any number of other vampires may participate.
Requirements: The sacrifice of thirteen virgins between an hour before midnight and dawn.
Effects: A fun party atmosphere, plus the possibility of summoning something really nasty to wreak havoc on the surrounding area.
Disrupted By: Killing of the vampire high priest leading the ritual. Causes a curse to fall on all participants.
