Description
Moira is about 5'4", with a petite build and green eyes. She is very fair with a smattering of freckles and curly black hair which she wears long, or pulled up on top of her head.

My So-Called Life
Moira moved to Solomon last year to attend Martense College on a scholarship from a private foundation. She lost her scholarship after her first year for mysterious reasons and is now taking part-time classes. She does have some financial aid to go towards this and her mom sends her some additional funds (mostly to keep her out of Boston and away from what her mom thought were her creepy pagan friends). Moira first came to study Irish Literature and Folklore, but has now switched it to American Colonial History and with a possible minor in Theatre. She's considering changing that to early American Literature and Folklore next semester, which she thinks might be more practical.

Moira began working at Sacred Grounds cafÈ/bookstore near the end of her first semester freshman year and decided to stay on for the summer. The owner at the time was Sally Lewis, a self-proclaimed aging hippie who had run the place since the 1970s. Due to Lewis's health problems and the rest of the college staff returning home for the summer, she let Moira make some changes in the dÈcor, start ordering books based on her personal interests, and let some of her artsy friends display their artwork and have musical performances. Business picked up and Moira became manager of the place over the summer. She finds the work fulfilling, but her long-time goal remains obtaining degree from the prestigious Martense College. She's not sure what she plans to do after graduation but is considering graduate school. This Fall, the store was rather abruptly bought out by a Mr. Geoffrey Preuter for what Moira suspects was a rather exorbitant sum. Mr. Preuter is a stuffy old British gentleman who largely keeps to himself and lets Moira run the place as she sees fit. He was almost always there, however, usually in the back or downstairs and often in the company of a pretty, young Chinese girl named Vivian. Moira suspected something unsavory, but every time she went into the back, he appeared to be tutoring her in various esoteric subjects. Moira is still a bit suspicious, and some of the customers have definitely been speculating wildly on their relationship... especially when the two would emerge from the basement all sweaty.

Moira spends most of her time studying, reading, and working. She doesn't have that many friends. She can't seem to quite figure out why---if others were asked, they would just comment that she seems a bit odd. She tends not to able to judge well what is the appropriate thing to say to people (although not because of a past as a Vengeance Demon). She usually manages to hang out with a few classmates from her current classes, but somehow the friendships never last. Right now, that means classmates from the theatre workshop that she's taking. They spend most of their time working on skits for class and sometimes Moira amuses them with tarot card readings. She is also currently taking a history course "Legends of New England" taught by the renowned colonial history professor, Dr. William Audley. She's recently started tutoring an ivy league/Jcrew type freshman named Jonathan Winslow who for some reason asked her if she would tutor him in history out of the blue. Needing some extra money, she decided not to refuse.

Family
Moira's mother and father are divorced. Her father lives somewhere on the West coast and lost contact with the rest of the family when Moira and her sister Erin were still in elementary school. Mom lives in Boston and owns a sort of antique/curio/craft shop in the historic area that caters mainly to tourists. Erin is currently a senior at Boston College.
